Bill Milletary, Century 21 Redwood Realty ~ VA

After working 11 years part-time in real estate and 23 years with the federal government, Bill decided to go full-time in real estate about 12 years ago.

Bill and his wife Carol have been in real estate for over 20 years, and their children have followed in their footsteps. Shawn, their son, is the broker of Century21 Redwood Realty in Ashburn, and their daughter and son-in-law have joined Bill and Carol to form Team Milletary.

According to Bill, "It's hard to compete with a brand new product that comes with a warranty."

Bill also said that many clients have turned to new homes because of the low inventory of resale homes, resulting in many multiple offers, especially on the foreclosure homes.

But does Richmond American really differ from other home builders? Bill said the main thing Richmond American offers buyers is a great product with many different floor designs at great prices.

"The homes really sell themselves," said Bill, "And in addition, the Richmond American Sales Associates seem well-trained and knowledgeable about their products."

Bill specifically mentioned Chris at Richmond American's Winsbury community in Dulles, VA, who he has worked with at many sites over the years. Bill said Chris is low key and no pressure, but very knowledgeable.

"Chris not only knows his product, but what the surrounding area has to offer," explained Bill, "And he's always friendly to my clients."
