March 31, 4:30 p.m.: Chad and his Realtor® toured the Jasper home at Richmond American's Tuscano community in Las Vegas.
March 31, 6:45 p.m.: Chad signed the paperwork to buy the home and submitted his earnest money.
Chad's Realtor® later told him it was the fastest decision she'd ever seen from a first-time homebuyer. Luckily, he's still satisfied with his quick decision. Chad has no regrets; he continues to love his house and neighborhood.
Originally, Chad had looked mostly at foreclosures. But after several unsuccessful bids, Chad's Realtor® thought he should start considering new homes. That's when she called up Rich, a Sales Associate at Richmond American, and the rest is history.
The modern layout of the Richmond American home blew me a way," Chad explained, "I never even considered purchasing anything else after that."
He was also impressed by the logical design of the home.
"I remember thinking that the storage closet underneath the foyer area was the most ingenious use of space. I still enjoy that extra feature," said Chad.
In addition to the floor plan design, Chad was pleased with his service after the sale. His Home Care Specialist, Teri, was very helpful on both of this walk-thrus. And when the air conditioner needed minor repairs, she made sure the technician took care of the problem. Teri's assistance was another reason why Chad was glad he purchased from Richmond American.
"The great warranty and customer service features that Richmond American offers put them in a class of their own. It makes it very easy for me recommend them to family and friends."
Overall, Chad describes his homebuying experience as empowering.
"I hated renting and having to abide by a landlord's rules. To finally have my own house that I can personalize is an amazing feeling."
As an Air Force hospital administrator, Delores Tyms is used to being in command. The team at Richmond American gave her the support, information and control she needed to have an outstanding homebuying experience.
Delores was looking for an affordable home near the metro or commuter bus line, and within a reasonable distance of the Pentagon. Jennifer, a Richmond American Sales Associate, introduced her to the Stonewall Manor community in Triangle, PA. Delores decided to purchase the model home, which she loved for its spaciousness, open floor plan and generous homesite. What impressed her most, however, was the responsiveness of the Richmond American team.
"Jennifer called me every week to keep me updated," Delores recalled. "She was the best part of my homebuying experience." Delores went onto say that she would definitely recommend Richmond American to friends and family, and that she would send them to Jennifer in particular.
Delores also had praise for Garland, her home's Construction superintendent. "When we did the walk-through, he really took his time and explained everything to me. I had a lot of questions, and he was never short, never impatient with me. He was always very open to anything I had to ask."
Overall, Delores describes her homebuying experience as outstanding. "I loved the whole experience," she said. "I don't have any complaints. I feel like I'm in my dream home."
