Real Estate Runs in the Family

Colorado native Anna Marquand always knew that she would build a career in real estate. Her dad became a licensed Realtor® in 1978, and she has been passionate about the industry ever since. She began her career in corporate housing and now enjoys helping buyers discover their dream home in the Denver area. Her favorite part of being a real estate agent is the satisfaction on a client’s face when they find a place that they love.

In Marquand’s experience, newly built homes appeal to a variety of buyers. She has sold new homes to first-time buyers, young families ready to move into a larger home and clients looking to retire to a lower-maintenance residence. When asked what factors encourage her to recommend new construction to her clients, Marquand cited personalization and location as two primary benefits, followed closely by the added support buyers get from having an entire homebuilder team throughout the process.

“Richmond American Homes is my favorite builder to work with. The people I’ve worked with have gone above and beyond for my clients, and make the process easy for me as well,” she said. Marquand values the relationships she has built with sales agents and encourages other agents to use builders’ on-site sales teams as a resource. Terry at Crystal Valley in Castle Rock, in particular, has provided exceptional customer service and has even answered Marquand’s calls while on vacation.
