Its access to one of the largest internet exchange points in the world has attracted telecommunications employers such as AOL, Verizon Business, AT&amp;T and Sprint, while proximity to DC and the Pentagon has made it an ideal location for government contractors like Raytheon and Orbital Sciences Corporation.
