After years of living in Hudson, Wisconsin, Jeffrey and Beverly were looking to make a change. They decided to move to Tucson, Arizona, where they could enjoy warm weather and an active outdoor lifestyle.
Jeffrey and Beverly spent weeks in Tucson searching for the perfect home. After exploring a variety of options with several different homebuilders in the area, they fell in love with the Holbrook floor plan at Richmond American Homes. Immediately, they noticed the home’s convenient open layout and abundant natural light. They also appreciated a 16′ sliding door, as well as a gourmet kitchen where Jeffrey now loves to cook. The size of the home is a perfect fit for Jeffrey and Beverly. “We really live in every part of the home,” Jeffrey said.

Jeffrey and Beverly also appreciated Steve, the Superintendent, who was very helpful and reachable throughout the building process.
Having owned a few custom homes in the past, Jeffrey and Beverly are seasoned homebuyers. Jeffrey and Beverly are glad to have a sizable backyard fit for entertaining. They recently hosted their daughter and son-in-law, as well as their 16-year-old grandson who is hoping to come back and stay again soon. Their guests have commented on how secluded the bedrooms feel, which Jeffrey and Beverly consider a benefit of the Holbrook floor plan.
When asked if Jeffrey would recommend Richmond American Homes to friends and family, he said, “absolutely,” and that he already has been doing so! He said that he has told anyone who asks, even new house hunters walking around the neighborhood, about the high quality of his home. Jeffrey’s advice to first-time homebuyers is to invest in a quality home, instead of looking for the best “deal,” because he believes that such an important investment should be built to last.
