Oak Hills’ website notes that the school values high academic standards, critical thinking and creativity, and that its goal is to  “provide a safe, nurturing, inclusive environment in which students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.”

Scholl Heights Elementary School (K – 5)

This elementary school was rated a 9/10, with students performing well above average on standardized tests. The student to teacher ratio is 20:1, with approximately 530 students. Scholl Heights’ website lists curiosity, creativity and risk-taking as central values, and the school’s mission statement includes the goal that “Every student will develop the academic, problem-solving, social-emotional, and creative skills to be productive, innovative, and responsible citizens and leaders in a changing global society.​​”

Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School (1 – 8)

Approximately 310 students attend this dual-language school, which was rated a 9/10, offers a student/teacher ratio of 24:1 and boasts above-average student proficiency rates on statewide standardized tests. Per its mission statement, Arco Iris endeavors to “foster an increased academic ability that includes students becoming bilingual, bi-literate and multi-cultural so that they are fully prepared for college, career and citizenship.”

International School of Beaverton (6 – 12)

This 850-student school boasts a 10/10 rating, above-average test results, above-average college readiness—and a graduation rate of 100%! According to its website, the school prioritizes intellectual rigor, intercultural respect and local and global community service, and encourages students to “to learn through an international lens as thoughtful, compassionate world citizens.”

Mountainside High School (9 – 12)

Mountainside High is rated a stellar 10/10 by GreatSchools.org. Test scores at this 2,200+ person school are far above average, and students enjoy robust athletics and performing arts programs and nearly 40 clubs. Mountainside offers International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, AVID curriculum and six career pathways with Career Technical Education (CTE) facilities. Its website states that the school is “an inclusive community of learners where all students, families, and staff grow, belong, find value and purpose in ourselves, and contribute to the global community.”

School of Science & Technology (9 – 12)

With a 10/10 ranking and far above-average scores in key measures of college and career readiness, it’s no surprise this high school boasts a 100% graduation rate. Almost 50% of the 170 students participate in Advanced Placement (AP) classes, and the student to teacher ratio is 20:1. The school’s website states that “[We] challenge and support students to be independent learners, researchers, and leaders in STEM fields and beyond.”
