For parents of school-age children, a great school district is probably at the top of the new home wish list. And let’s face it, even if you don’t have kids, highly-acclaimed schools can be positive for resale value in the future. For those looking to relocate, we’ve rounded up some areas boasting notable school districts.

ROCKLIN, CA
Located approximately 22 miles from Sacramento, Rocklin has a beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain backdrop. Notable schools and outdoor recreation make it a great place to call home. Residents are just a couple hours from both Lake Tahoe and San Francisco.

Where to buy a new home:
Creekside at Whitney Ranch in Rocklin, CA offers new homes from the upper $400s with up to 7 bedrooms and up to 3,400 sq. ft.
