We are always seeking customer focused, results-oriented individuals with a proven record of sales success to help homebuyers find and close on their dream homes! Weekends are a requirement, but are also the greatest opportunity to meet with potential buyers. Take a look at what your day might look like if you start a career in sales.

  1. Meet for a team huddle and make sure your site is ready and open to sell homes.

  2. Make calls to prospective buyers and agents about your community.

  3. Lead your community team meeting and call customers under contract with updates on the progress of their home.

  4. Sit down with a buyer who is ready to contract.

  5. Attend a Breaking Ground meeting for a buyer under contract.

  6. Make a call to congratulate a homeowner who closed yesterday.

  7. Sit down with an agent who wants to learn more about the benefits of selling a new home in your neighborhood.

  8. Walk an interested couple through a model home and create a new home price scenario for them.

  9. More prospecting! Reach out to top real estate agents in your area to drive new interest.

  10. A day well done!

New Home Specialists

New Home Specialists are dedicated to helping customers in the early stages of the house hunt. Available by phone or online chat, this team of professionals is there to do the legwork for the homebuyer. Weekend work is required. Daily tasks include:

  • Answering questions about floor plans and communities
  • Taking a look at a buyer’s wish list and helping them narrow down communities
  • Providing local information for relocation buyers
  • Calling leads in our system to drive interest in Richmond American homes
  • Setting up appointments for buyers at various communities
  • Assisting real estate agents with their home searches for their clients
