Between touchscreen keyboards, overzealous autocorrect and the average agent’s hectic schedule, it’s a wonder there aren’t more typos on the MLS. But, when they do happen, they can be a big buyer turn-off.

Redfin® teamed up with the grammar experts at Grammarly® to survey just how important a polished real estate listing is to homebuyers. The result? 87% said the listing description was either extremely or very important and 43.4% said they would be much less inclined to tour a home if the listing had misspellings or improper grammar. That’s a pretty good case for proofreading!
